About Us

The Tennessee Hospitality Association (TnHA) represents the interests of Tennessee’s lodging and dining establishments and the related businesses involved in the hospitality industry.

Here at TnHA, cooperation has produced significant political impact.  As the unifying force within the hospitality and tourism industry, we can affect issues that influence your business.  Because we are a full-time organization working on your behalf, we provide a great return on your investment.  TnHA protects your business’ interests on a national, state and local level.  We are committed to meeting the challenges presented by the political, legislative, regulatory and economic forces influencing our industry.

Members also benefit from product and service discounts, world-class training, in-depth information, fast research support and a wealth of other resources. As a prospective or current member, get ready to learn and flourish in Tennessee’s hospitality and tourism industry.  You’re part of the premiere lodging and dining association in the state of Tennessee.

In addition to your TnHA membership, upon joining you will become a member of either the American Hotel & Lodging Association or the National Restaurant Association and are eligible for the many benefits and services offered by those organizations.

Currently in its 84th year of operation, the TnHA (formerly the Tennessee Hotel & Lodging Association) is a not-for-profit trade association representing the hospitality industry in Tennessee and its preferred vendor partners.  TnHA is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.

The hospitality/travel industry is the second largest in Tennessee with annual direct spending exceeding $14.2 billion.  In 2008, the federal, state, and local tax collections from domestic travel exceeded $3 billion dollars.  Employment generated by travel accounted for 182,300 jobs within the state of Tennessee and generated payroll exceeding $5.4 billion dollars. This collective impact demands representation and respect.
